About

Leisl Ohai founded Impact Led after more than a decade working at the intersection of impact-led business, human rights and social impact.

Her experience spans both community-centred impact design and organisational systems change. This has included developing holistic employment models within vulnerable communities, designing impact measurement and learning frameworks, and advancing modern slavery due diligence approaches across complex global supply chains.

A defining chapter of her journey was her time at Outland Denim, an ethical fashion brand creating employment pathways for survivors of human trafficking. Working alongside suppliers, brands, NGOs and vulnerable communities, she witnessed both the potential and complexity of using business as a catalyst for opportunity, dignity and flourishing. These experiences reinforced her belief that impact cannot sit at the margins of an organisation. It must be intentionally designed, embedded in decision-making, and informed by the voices of the people it seeks to serve.

Today, through Impact Led, Leisl partners with social enterprises, purpose-led businesses and organisations seeking to create positive change through thoughtful strategy, ethical practice and community-centred design.

Combining practical experience with a Master of Leadership for Development, she brings a collaborative approach grounded in lived realities, systems thinking and long-term impact.
